Moving.?

Pedro and I are starting to get quite fed up with this house that we are currently living in. We pay $700 a month and have been living here for 9 months and our plumbing has messed up three times already, a window which was broken before we moved in is still not fixed, the foundation of the house is starting to have cracks and this house has a lot of bugs.! I have asked them to get some one out here to spray the place because i have tried everything and nothing is working.! Not including that our AC went out one time last month and it took them a week to get some one out here so I had to find someone my self. Luckly, I know a guy who does AC and he didnt charge us. Bascily I am tired of this house and the landlord. I have look into the contract and no where does it says if we get out early we have to pay or anything. It doesn't even say I have to tell them we are leaving but, I am thinking about giving him a letter and letting him know we are wanting out of the contract and are leaving. Pedro and I are going to go look at an apartment tomorrow. I am kinda excited, because i was told they are really nice apartments and a two bed room is only $395 a month plus bills. Even if we have to pay bills we are still saving 300 or 400$ a month.! I am hoping the down payment isn't much or at least we can get them to agree on letting us move in and just pay the down payment in payments or somthing. Pedro's mom has offerd us to stay in her little house she has for a couple of months for free but, we won't have any room for our stuff and I don't want to have to sell anything because we will want it all once we get a better place. I really don't know what to do. I know staying at his moms house would give us time to save enough money for a better place but I guess my pride is getting in the way a bit. ): I just don't want to have to depend on people when it comes to my family. I know that is a dumb thing to say but I just have to much pride. What should I do.? I am hoping the whole apartment thing will work out. I think that is the best choice for us right now, Isaac is still very little and its not like he can go run around and play yet. It should be a good place for us until he is a bit older. I am currently working at Jimmy's Egg as a cashier and a busier. Pedro is working at Express, a clothing store in the mall, we both are getting minimum wage so, us paying $900 to $1,000 a month for rent and bills is not going to work any more. Please everyone pry for us and that everything will work out soon. I will let you guys know how the apartment goes.! (:
